In the men's 63.5 kg competition, Swarnadhari Bhupendra defeated Mahendra Chand of Sudurpaschim Pradesh, Nischal defeated Sonam Sarki of APF and Khagendra defeated Mrinal Joshi of Madhesh Pradesh.
Bhupendra's brother Chandra Bahadur Thapa defeated Phunglang Kambang of Koshi Province, Lalprasad Upreti of Wagmati defeated Bharat Pun of Lumbini, Bimal Ghartimar of Army, Lakshman Rai of Karnali Province and Ravin Thapa of Madhesh Province made it to the semi-finals in the men's 51 kg competition at Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwar.
In men's 71 kg, Vikram Chaudhary of APF defeated Sujit Parajuli of Madhesh and Ashwin Dhiren Shrestha of Wagmati defeated Manoj Shrestha of Lumbini to reach the semi-finals. In men's 80 kg, Balaji Rawal of Sudurpaschim, Pradeep Parki of Police and Dipesh Lama of Army ended the challenge of Suman Karki of APF and entered the semi-finals.
In men's 57 kg, Police's Nikesh Deshar got a walkover from APF's Puran Rai and decided the semi-final. In the same competition, Sulabh Mali from Karnali region defeated Dambar Bahadur Shrestha from Koshi, Vishal Jagri from Far-West region Neerajan Moktan from Wagmati and Prem Choudhary from Army defeated Mansub Basnet from Lumbini region and confirmed their place in the semi-finals.
In women's 50 kg, Ramisha Shrestha of Wagmati defeated Sonia Setthi of Sudurpaschim and Aarti Blown of Army defeated Sheela Rai of Koshi to reach the semi-finals. In 57 kg, Barsha Shrestha of Army defeated Sharmila Tamang of APF and Nisha Tamang of Police defeated Anshu KC of Madhesh to set the semi-finals. In 60 kg, Army's Lalita Maharjan defeated Nishma Gurung of Madhesh and Jonu Limbu of Koshi defeated Kavita Singh of Sudurpaschim to make it to the semi-finals.
