The 9th district convention of CPN-UML West Nawalparasi will be held in Sunwal on 21st and 22nd of Baisakh.
UML Nawalparasi informed about the convention through a press conference. District convention party president KP Sharma Oli will inaugurate. The district president Dipendra Kumar Adhikari said that preparations for the
convention are going on rapidly. According to him, 421 representatives will be selected from 74 wards of 7 local levels of the district on May 17. 13 sub-committees have been formed to complete the
convention. Among them are the political report writing committee as the coordinator of the district president officer, Dhiraj Sharma Basyal as the representative management sub-committee coordinator, Rajan Kumar Acharya as the publicity sub-committee, Dolraj Bhandari as the economic management sub-committee, Ramchandra Bhandari as the food and housing management committee and others. The logo of the district convention has also been made public.
In the district where there are 7 local levels, apart from Palhinandan rural municipality, the municipal assembly has been completed in Sunwal, Ramgram, Sarawal, Pratappur, Bardghat and Susta. According to the party, there are 4,649 organized members in the district.
