The suspension of Congress MP Tek Bahadur Gurung has been lifted. The General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Padma Prasad Pandey, issued a notice on Wednesday informing about the lifting of the suspension of MP Gurung.
Secretary General Pandey has mentioned that the notice has been issued as per the order of the Supreme Court. While the corruption case is pending in the Supreme Court, the joint bench of Supreme Court Justices Manoj Kumar Sharma and Vinod Sharma quashed the notification issued by the Federal Parliament Secretariat to suspend MP Gurung.
