With the financial support of Japanese citizens, a community building has been constructed in Sindhupalchok's tourist town Indrawati Rural Municipality. The Japanese organization 'Jeffs' has constructed a building in Budichaur located in Ward No. 10 of the municipality to be used by the communities of all 12 wards.
The building, which was constructed at a cost of around one million, was inaugurated by the Japanese Ambassador Kikuta Yuta. The management of the building has been handed over to the Lantern Foundation. The foundation provided the land for the building. According to Sudarshan Acharya, president of
foundation and former president of Press Council of Nepal, there is a plan to operate FM radio in the building and build a museum that reflects the identity of the entire castes of the district.
The building has 6 rooms with ground floor and one floor. It is said that the building will also be used to accommodate the locals during the emergency rescue. Lantern Chairman Acharya said that Budichor will also be developed as a tourist spot. The supporting organizations of the opening program and the Japanese ambassador expressed their happiness that they were able to help by building a building for the use of the locals.
The place spread over about 12 acres of land has been used as a picnic spot by the locals lately.
