Hemodialysis service has started for the first time in District Hospital Bardia from Tuesday. Health Minister of Lumbini Province Dipendra Kumar Pun Magar formally inaugurated the service at District Hospital Bardia.

Dialysis service started in Bardia Hospital


Dr. Subhas Pandey, Medical Superintendent of the District Hospital, said that ten staff nurses including two doctors have been deployed in this service which will be operated around the clock.

Medical Pandey said that now patients have to go to other districts or neighboring countries in India for dialysis. For the operation of this service, the state and federal governments have provided financial and material support.
