Two youths have been arrested for illegal transactions through USDT (crypto currency).
Amrit Kumar Barma of Nepalganj 20 and Riaz Kha living in Janki Rural Municipality 1 were arrested by District Police Office Banke. Banke Police Spokesperson, Deputy Superintendent of Police Narayan Dangi said that they have been found to be doing illegal business worth around 1 crore daily. According to him, Burma and Khale did illegal transactions through Binance and Bitgate.
Both the arrested persons have committed an offense under Section 95 of the Nepal Rastra Bank Act 2058, so the police have proceeded with the process for action. The police are investigating them from the Banke district court with an extension of five days .
