The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has filed a case in a special court against five people, including the then head of the Social Development Office, Dhananjay Acharya.
They have been found to have irregularly received the funds received from the Karnali state government for the construction of a sports field in Dunai Dolpa, Thuliberi Municipality-3.
The Commission has filed a claim of Rs 993,940 against the Chief Acharya of the Social Development Office, Sub-Engineer Motiprasad Budha, Chairman of the Consumer Committee Abhishek Shahi, Secretary Apar Gurung and Treasurer Vishwanath Shahi, informed the spokesperson of the Commission, Narhari Ghimire.
