Although he is ninety years old, he continues to awaken the feeling that he should do something more for this country. I remember those years ago when I led and participated in educational and political movements in my life.

Against party syndicates

Our movement was for easy guarantee of political, social, educational and other necessary services, facilities and rights of citizens in the country. But when it comes to the time of the democratic republic through the multi-party parliamentary system, it is heartbreaking to see that there is chaos everywhere in the country.

During these 35 years, the political leadership won votes from the people by giving slogans of good governance, prosperity and employment. After coming to power, the leader forgot the slogan of good governance, prosperity and employment. They got involved in various scandals for personal gain. In this way, when the leadership involved itself in the act of acquiring huge wealth, the people's frustration towards the leadership and this political behavior has increased. Neighboring India and China are in the mainstream of world politics. According to the idea of becoming the first among these countries, the speed of development is fast. But we are not only participating in various scandals by not being able to convince the neighboring countries, but we are getting into the trouble of power equation and syndicates to share together. Malaysia has surprised the world in its development over three decades. The world is surprised to see the progress of Gulf countries like Dubai and Qatar. But it is sad that there are almost all possibilities in Nepal but there is nothing.

Every day thousands of youths go abroad, for them the state should provide at least five percent subsidized loans. By doing this, the financial burden is reduced on the youth who have to go abroad. Billions are spent on studying the topic. They never come up with a program to do something, nor do they make a solid plan. Now the independent voters (not those who are contaminated by being tied to the party) should understand, not by looking at the face of the political party from the upcoming 2084 election, but an alternative party that brings competent and effective program should be brought to power. Many industries were sold after the multi-party system. Many were closed. In the name of privatisation, such a situation has grown that it has hollowed out the country. The priority of the alternative party is to re-operate paper factories, tire factories, shoe factories, cigarette factories, etc., which have been sold by the government or destroyed, in a cooperative model. Also, employment should be created in the country by establishing the industries related to food, hydropower, and forestry as the core industries of Nepal. All those living in the country should be made aware of nationality and arrangements should be made to allow Nepalese living in the diaspora to participate in voting. The newly elected should remove the distinction between public and private schools. In Nepal, the educational inequality has also created a huge difference. It is necessary to resolve this and bring equality among all Nepali students.

There is a need for comprehensive reforms in the health sector. In consultation with experts and health practitioners in this field, the health sector should be made accessible to all. Likewise, the river channels of Nepal should be made pollution-free. Greenery should be increased along with it. The government should reward and encourage individuals, organizations or groups working in the fields of agriculture, forestry and water. The lands of the villages, which have been deserted by the youth, should be converted into a cooperative model by adopting modern technology, Chakla farming system. It increases production and provides employment to millions. It is necessary to prepare and implement a development package program for Karnali and Madhesh provinces.

Politics has two wings - political parties and mass organizations. For 35 years the parties have been functioning, but the mass organization is completely inactive. The role of the people's organization has been paralyzed by factionalism. People's organizations should be independent and united. The state should recognize every independent people's organization. Pulchok's ministerial quarter is shifting to Bhainsipati in near future. Those quarters should be provided to the people's organization. Also, a policy rule should be made to give some amount from the state fund for the operation of the people's organization. This work is a priority of the emerging alternative government.

The time has come to promote a new alternative political power in order to solve all the issues in the country easily, to amend the constitution. Because of good leadership, Malaysians have an annual per capita income of fourteen thousand US dollars. However, due to the lack of skilled leadership in Nepal, per capita income has shrunk to 1300 US dollars. Will it stay in this situation or rise to the level of Malaysia in the next fifteen years? The right to decide this is in the general electorate.
